- discussion of Mark Shuttleworth's bounty scheme whereby open RFEs on OS projects are encouraged via cash incentives --
- talk of SBCs funding of OS firewallo testing and exploit hardening / DRAs research into comms over poor network links (eg UDP to remote space probes). This later went into how to protect IP for future generations and the corruption of copyright laws (extending from 20+ years to 90+)
- how to pitch to the European Commission for innovation grants
